Talked Lifestyle with your Doctor?
Not long ago, I asked a friend of mine if he had seen his doctor recently?
He scoffed and said “why, so we can discuss lifestyle” I laughed, but it brings to mind the fact that I believe we all know the difference between right and wrong, in the literal sense, and in the sense of how it relates to our overall health.
We certainly know, that fast food is, for the most part NO GOOD for us, and that whole unprocessed foods are good for us. Sounds simple enough, but unfortunately, few people actually follow through on their hunches, about what is good for them.
I believe, you can insure your health yourself, by following a few simple principals, and we will be exploring those principals, here in, The Thrash. But at the end of the day, it still boils down to diet and exercise, and finding the right combination of it all for YOU! We are all unique and different, therefore what is right for one of us, is not necessarily, what is right for all of us.
Individuality of diet and exercise plans, is what we need to concentrate on, to find our own personal Optimum Health Zone! This blog is my personal journey to find MINE and I hope the information contained in this blog helps you find YOURS!
The Health Resource Advocating Self Healing
This is my first post on my new blog dedicated to your Personal Health. There will be tons of tips and tricks on how to maintain your health and more importantly, how to become pro active in your quest for Optimum Health.
In conjunction with this site I am starting a website for my now 94 year old father in his quest to reach 100 Years of Age. Look for that soon and the You Tube video of Dad hanging upside down on his inversion machine which he still does regularly
I get most of my interest in health from my father. He has always pushed myself and my sisters to be healthier. Here we will go over some of the principals he and I apply and hopefully you will find little tidbits that will help you personally in your quest for Optimum Health.
It requires a little dedication but once you get into the swing of daily exercise everything will start falling into place………as they say No Pain No Gain

Insure Your Health Yourself!
I have always believed in the human body’s ability to heal itself, on it’s own, if given the time that is needed for it to do it’s job! Having said that there is a lot more that goes into preparing oneself for self healing.
One of the biggest steps, is having the belief that it is possible. It really starts with some form of cleansing and/or fasting to allow the body to use it’s vital force to heal rather than digest food.
True health cannot be reached until one is at one’s own, shall we say, “fighting weight”.
This must first be done with exercise and diet and ridding the body of any processed or refined food or beverages. Then begin anew with whole healthy foods and lots of water prior to starting any kind of fast or cleansing.
I would suggest that it would take the typical North American a year or so to really make these lifestlye changes towards Optimum Health.
